Unfortunately we have to tell them they can't visit. There's a number of reasons really.
A couple of weeks ago I went out to the hives and ended up getting stung about 10-12 times in my skull. You can only imagine if this were to happen to a person visiting here?
In todays world where folks like to sue, we can't risk losing our entire business over someone wanting to see a beehive. We don't even let our local schools visit for this very reason.
If anyone asking us owed a business as ours, we like to ask them would they risk it? We've never gotten a "yes" back once they think about it.
So sorry to say, we have lots of fun producing honey for everyone, but simply won't take the risk of someone falling, tripping, getting stung - you get the point!
