About our farm:
Our farm is located in Ashland OH, just off I-71 and Route 250. We've been in the honey business for
10 years now. The first couple of
years, we were selling honey to folks close to us. As more and more folks
contacted us for honey, we decided that we needed a webpage to make it easier
for these folks to simply order online from us.
We have outgrown the amount of honey we can produce and now also buy honey and
bee products from beekeepers in OH, MI, PA, IN, and IL. If you have any
questions concerning our bee products and their sources, please
email us
or phone us before purchasing.
If you are a
beekeeper within these states and would like to talk to us about buying your
honey, please give us a call!
About Us: Glenn started beekeeping full time when our daughter was
born as we wanted one of us to be around for her during the day. We drew
straws and he kept winning)), so he's around most of time. Glenn has a
doctorate in Organic Chemistry and I have a B.S. in Biology so we both love
being around bees all the time.
Glenn also enjoys speaking with people about bees and the products that they
produce for
all of us.
The beekeeping business is hard heavy work and also depends on the weather, but
once you realize the importance of pollination to all of us, the work becomes
easier. Watching bees in action on a warm sunny day is so relaxing and
enjoyable and each year the honey taste of the honey varieties differs depending
on what plants are producing the best pollen and nectar sources.
We have fun "tracking" the bees to find out what nectar sources they are
attracted to around our property.
We pride ourselves on customer service and we hear from many folks who are
surprised at how quickly we respond to their emails. We also get
frustrated by trying to contact someone about ordering something and waiting for
days to hear back. Our goal is to respond to your emails within the day.
Sometimes on nice sunny days, we'll be out taking supers off the hives and
"playing" with the bees.)))
If you need to contact us, feel free to
call us at 419-289-6701 or
email us.
We also welcome all
suggestions and comments about our honey business.
