The pollen is cleaned by hand and then placed in a refrigerator; which, having a dehumidifier, then removes the moisture and prevents any breakdown of the pollen.  Once dry, the pollen is sealed into 1 pound bags and again refrigerated.  The pollen is gathered from fields that have not been sprayed or fertilized.
