Product Description
Raw bamboo honey in a 4 oz. hexagon jar. A 4 oz. jar holds 6 oz. of honey - (honey is 1.5 more dense than water and jars are measured on the density of water), so you will get 6 oz. of honey. taste.

Bamboo honey comes from the Japanese Knotweed plant which is found in 39 of the 50 states.

This plant is considered a very invasive weed. In the U.S.A. it is listed as an invasive weed in Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, New York and Washington states.

Other English names for Japanese knotweed include fleeceflower, Hancock's curse, elephant ears, pea shooters, donkey rhubarb (although it is not a rhubarb), sally rhubarb, Japanese bamboo, American bamboo, and Mexican bamboo. Japanese knotweed flowers are valued by some beekeepers as an important source of nectar for honeybees, at a time of year when little else is flowering.

Japanese knotweed yields a monofloral honey, usually called bamboo honey by northeastern U.S. beekeepers, like a mild-flavored version of buckwheat honey. This honey is a very dark honey and also has a pleasant sweet taste to it.

5 stars for quality, 3 stars for personal taste
Everything eBeeHoney sells is top quality. Personally this does not taste as good as the wildflower honey, sort of a lightweight buckwheat flavor. Sticking with wildflower from now on!

I can't waste this honey in tea. OMG my new favorite honey. All you need is a spoon when you just need a little something sweet. Get the RAW BAMBOO. I got the trial size. Will get the biggest size next time.

Didn't expect bamboo honey to be that flavorful and dark - it's almost on a par with buckwheat honey. While this one has a bit of an edgy aftertaste that I am not so sure about, overall I have to give it four stars. (Did not crystallize even after a few weeks in the fridge.)

I bought this Bamboo Honey for a taste test. Loved it and wanted to share. Was gone in two hours. My family wanted more more. On bread, in tea, on bananas and crackers. By the lickful. Must get more and hide it.

About raw bamboo honey.
The raw bamboo honey is delicious, I just bought a 6 ounce jar because I prefer the stronger Buckwheat (I bought 12 pounds, nevertheless I really enjoy it.

Raw Bamboo Honey
This was a new flavor for me. It has a wonderful flavor and it is very distinct. The bamboo honey was a pleasant surprise and I have added it to my "I LOVE THIS" list of honey. I will be ordering more of this flavor when I start running low.

Actually bought this in the gallon container. Loved the raw buckwheat honey I tried in the past, so thought I would give this a try. It actually reminds me of some of the stronger wildflower honey I have purchased here in the past, and to my surprise better than the wildflower I purchased with it.

This honey is very bitter. Maybe some like it like this but it was too much for me. Glad I only bought a small container. I love Ebee Honey though.
