Raw Locust honey in a 2 pound container. (Picture shows 1 lb. container, you will get a 2 lb. container). We do have a limit of 4 containers as we will sell out quickly. 

Locust honey is also known as Acacia Honey.

Pleasant tasting honey, aromatic, and ranging from water white to light yellow in color, this honey comes from the black locust tree which flowers in long white racemes. This honey is tough to get as the trees are only flowering a couple of weeks at best and we typically have a big Spring storm which takes the flowers off the trees. This limits the amount of nectar bees can gather, so we never have enough Locust Honey to get us through a year and we will sell out.

Raw honey has not been heated and simply filtered through a large mesh screen. The screen removes larger particles and allows pollen, propolis and beeswax particles to pass through it. Pleasant tasting honey, aromatic, and ranging from water white to light yellow in color, this honey comes from the black locust tree which flowers in long white racemes.
